For someone who struggles a great deal with their self-esteem, it isn’t easy for me to admit that this image took my breath away when I saw it. I immediately sent it to my partner because I felt so sexy and powerful and it gave me some very Domme feels. It may be my new favorite photo. This self portrait project sure has been a trip. Today makes day 123, and I have learned a great deal about myself and have had to face some uncomfortable truths, then learn to forgive and love them. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year teaches me. It hasn’t been easy, and frankly some of it has fucking sucked, but the fact that I am able to see images of myself on a regular basis and feel good about them is tremendous growth for me.

    1. Well thank you so much for your kind words! It thrills me to share that with you all. 😊

    1. Thank you Marie. Coupled with therapy, it’s the best thing I’ve done for my self-esteem 😊

  5. Beautiful image. Body angles and the parcels of soft skin between the stern black clothes and the tails just so relaxed at your side but with a firm wrist…Very “in control” image

  6. This is absolutely breathtaking! There is a beautiful resting energy to it, if that makes sense. Like you are taking a moment between swings to breathe. It’s very charged and peaceful at the same time and you look beautiful.

  7. You’re right – this is marvellous. To me, there’s a great tension between the pose, which at first sight might be quite subby (head lowered against a wall, shoulders dropped) but the flogger in your hand changes the dynamic completely, like you’re winding up to deliver a strike. Coiled tension.

    1. Thank you! Yes, like I mentioned it gave me serious Domme feels when I saw it, and I am not sure that was my intention when taking the image. Makes me feel quite powerful and in control 😍

    1. Hm. Well, I am a professional photographer lol so that counts right? It was just natural window lighting though 😉

  8. As others have said, it’s an enviably dramatic shot. Radiates confidence. And I love that the scorpion faces the flogger. Something about stingers and tails right there.
