This glass dildo from Icicles didn’t disappoint. I’ve tried a few other glass toys, and the shape and texture of them never really did it for me, so I was a little concerned about this one when I opened up the box and discovered that it had some veiny texture on the shaft. I was less excited to try it than I would have been if it was smooth, but dang it’s just so pretty that I couldn’t complain. Not only is it a beautiful shade of pastel pink, but the light shines through it so brilliantly that it’s like a piece of glass art – that looks like a cock. I love it.
At about six inches of insertable length, and an inch diameter it’s a nice thin medium-length toy. The delicate ripples inside give it a sparkly look when the light shines through. And the textured veins sit so smoothly and well placed that I actually enjoyed them, rather than causing discomfort, like some of the other textured glass toys I own.
It came with a silicone base with a shallow suction cup, that kind of disappointed me. I wouldn’t be comfortable using such a hard toy with the suction cup that it came with since it’s likely to slip and it seems like that could go wrong. However, the soft squishy silicone base works perfectly as a handle which makes it easier to grip once things are all slippery than the base of the toy. It’s a nice addition that’s easily removable to clean or to use without it. And it also works as a cute way for you to display it on a shelf, your desk, or bedside table so you can enjoy it all of the time.
